Does anyone know anything about this necklace? Designer? Anything?

I have a customer who purchased the necklace around 1978 at Neiman Marcus in Dallas, Texas. The necklace is sterling silver.

The stamp looks like it has "TRXCOMEXII", "2-02", and the last part looks like maybe a 2 or a q followed by 259.

The necklace was likely made in Taxco, Mexico - the center of fine silver-smithing in Mexico. The 925 indicates the metal purity:925/1000 parts silver, generally known as sterling silver. The other marks probably indicate who made the piece. Unfortunately, I don't know of a comprehensive listing of modern Taxco maker marks.

you're very welcome. Here's a similar necklace, by the way. Although the necklaces are very similar, it doesn't look like it was made by the same maker - at least, the maker marks don't appear to be similar. I suspect that for mass market items, many jewelers had access to similar molds or components (links, etc) that they could then put together and sell with their own marks.
