Hello! A couple of years ago my mother gave me her original wedding set from when she and my dad were married in 1970. They were 18 and 20 years old and didn’t have two nickels to rub together. Her set is very simple and sweet.
She had the rings cut off prior to a surgery, and unfortunately, they were cut through the interior engraving that has their initials and wedding date.
Neither remembers much about the set except my dad says it was a pretty popular brand at the time.
The inside says “Orange Blossom” (orange is engraved on top of the word blossom), 18k and has what appears to be two TT inside of a circle. There also appears to be a mark that says P23, but it’s difficult to tell the number for certain. I’m guessing that’s the style number
I don’t know anything about the diamond as far as clarity, color, etc., but it’s a 1/4 carat and is super white and sparkly.
Along with getting the bands fixed and sized, one prong will have to be replaced as it’s missing on top. This is super special to me, and I’d love any info anyone could provide. Through reading here and on the net, the hallmark is Traub, but I don’t know much else. Attaching photos, but they aren’t great and the engraving/hallmark was difficult to capture.
