18k gold and emerald ring age?

Hello from Florida. First time posting here. I'm not a jewelry collector but I figured there are experts here that could help me figure out the age of this ring. I found it in the gulf while metal detecting and it was deeply buried in the sand in about 4 feet of water. It has been tested to at least 18k and the emerald is uncut. The jeweler tested the gold to 18k but didn't check it with a higher karet solution because he couldn't find it and was too busy to really help me. I will test it later this week when my test kit arrives in the mail. The ring is not hallmarked and is very small (would probably fit a woman's pinky). Any opinions would be appreciated!
