My baby grabbed my chain and pulled on it, breaking it. I need a new one and prefer a shorter chain.
 
I'm so sorry @winnietucker my baby also pulls at my necklace and I've found that I need a very heavy duty necklace. My current necklace is around 15g and haven't had any issues. I'm too scared to wear the 4g one. If that helps in searching for a necklace.

It was my first time wearing it too. We were walking in a parking lot when he decided to yank on it. Luckily the pendant didn’t get lost. I’ll have to stick to thicker necklaces for a little while.
 
Thank goodness you didn't loose the pendant. I'm so sorry your necklace broke though. I don't wear much jewellery now because of the little ones.

My everyday necklace is a curb chain. The little ones pull and pull and it's still going strong!

Hopefully this one works out! Mostly because it was final sale. It was priced at melt value before tax and shipping so why not give it a try? Worst case scenario my toddler now has a gold chain.

Probably not. I seem to see very strange routes for USPS these days and they do go back and forth to the same distribution sites sometimes. I think sometimes they don't make it out of the truck and go back to the starting point. Check it tomorrow and see what it says. It will probably be moving again.

Hopefully not. I’m keeping an eye on it. They have lost a package of mine in the past so I’m a little worried.

Here is the other chain I bought. It has little red cabs at the ends of the toggle - seller thought maybe garnet or ruby. I might have the white gold piece removed to shorten it a bit.
 
Thank you both! Big gold chains are off my wishlist. I’m seeing them all over too, which was fueling the need to have one.
 
Ok the scrap gold price chain came in and it’s rose gold. The listing just said gold and I just assumed yellow like a dummy. Disappointing…IMG_7979.jpeg

I plan to keep it for now. It’s not my preferred gold color but I only paid scrap value so idk I can probably get over it.
