Yes, congrats! Not to take away anything from the prosumers here, but you taught me a lot about diamonds and made it easier to understand all the angles/percentages, etc.

You are kind of my idol - I would love to design something as cool as the Octavia myself but haven't got the time / brainpower to devote to it! lol

I really do not think many of the posters here have a clue about your history here, Karl. Why not take a few minutes and write a short description of how you came to Pricescope and how your sojourn here evolved. If I had my way, I would have you include the major milestones you shared with us on Pricescope, not only how you moved from being a consumer to a member of the trade (designing the Octavia on the way) but also about how your wifey for ever was once your wifey to be and how long you had to wait to be together with her. But of course only share if you are comfortable. :))

While we have our struggles with health issues and employment we strengthen and love each other more deeply every day!!!!

Another public service you provide here on Pricescope is that you post our annual memorial thread on September 11. It was put together with great thought and sensitivity and reminds all of us, year after year, that we must never forget. Thank you for that kind of sharing as well as your sharing of expertise, Karl.

Thanks everyone.

Just for fun I was trying figure out how many days in 15 years I missed reading RT at least once and the total has to be less than 30 except when I was in the hospital which would make it something like 75 days over 15 years.
