15 carat gold pieces

I recently purchased a rose gold 15 carat, likely Australian black opal doublet ring, from an antique dealer. The hallmarking of 15 carat stuff was limited in the British Empire from 1854-1931 when the currentl hallmark standards were introduced, thank you interwebs!

Wondering if anyone else has run into Imperrial 15 carat stuff.

Coming across this post over a year and a half later but I recently bought an antique Australian (judging from the maker's mark) diamond ring that is stamped 15ct.
