Hi everyone! I''m a new member, though I have visited the site from time to time over the past couple years since I stumbled upon it when preparing to reset my engagement ring and choosing a wedding ring. Thanks to the information I found here, I had Whiteflash create both rings and have been very happy with them.

For our upcoming anniversary, my husband asked me what I wanted, and of course, I said jewelry! I''ve narrowed down my choices to either a diamond solitaire pendant or RHR eternity band but can''t decide between the two. I''m considering this band:

I don''t currently have any diamond rings aside from my e-ring/wedding ring or any diamond necklaces. I do have a small pair of diamond studs but would like to add a classic piece of jewelry for everyday wear. Any thoughts or suggestions?

personally, i''d get the band. that way i could "see" it everyday. if it''s on my neck i can''t just glance down and admire it you know?

Hard to decide... With the pendant you can someday upgrade the stone and this piece of jewelry seems so classic to me and I love my diamond pendant.

However, bands are also super fun and I personally like rings because I can look at them without going to the mirror. You might want to also check out the beverly k line at pearlmans. They have a ton of lovely bands that are well within your price range. http://www.pearlmansjewelers.com/jewelry-designers/beverley-k-jewelry/rings/

I''d also go with the band. It''s something you can wear everyday with any outfit, whearas a pendant might not go with certain items. Just my opinon.

Difficult choice but I''d get the pendant.

I wear mine with everything. a simple solitare can go with just about anything from jeans, to suits to formal wear. It''s a classic piece.

I would say the band. It''s nice to be able to look down at your hand and see something sparkley. Before I had a pendant, I was wanted one...then I got one and hardly wear it.

I''d get the band because:

1. I love rings the best out of all jewelry

2. I love eternity rings

3. I don''t wear necklaces ever (bad luck with breaking the chains and not even knowing it, then it''s just lost forever)

4. I can''t see my neclace when I''m wearing it

5. Depending on the necline of my shirt, the neclace might not hang in the right spot

6. I can see my hands, and enjoy looking at my rings anytime I wish!

7. Did I say how elegant I think eternity rings are?

8. Eternity rings are meant to STACK, so you can get them for having a baby, graduating from college, etc.

Pendant! Why? Because that''s what I did!

And if you need some inspiration, mine was $1217 after PS discount, for a J/SI1 bezel-set pendant in white gold.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I think I am leaning toward the eternity band, so perhaps the pendant could be next. I like the idea that I will be able to see the ring more than I''ll be able to see the diamond on my neck. It''s a hard decision! I''m working with someone at WF now to decide on the band. I''m a bit worried about a full eternity, since I''d like to wear it everyday and am clumsy. Has anyone experienced any durability issues with a bead set eternity band?

jstarfireb - Thanks so much for posting a link to your pendant. It''s beautiful! I love the style, and it''s the perfect size on you. I would love to have a bezel set pendant in the 0.3-0.4ct range.

Get the band baby, make your way to the knuckle! LOL! :) Seriously, though, I would choose the band. You can wear it stacked or as on it''s own. And it will remind you of the hubby every time you see it. It seems more "significant" and grown up to me and more reflective of a marriage, being round and all.
