Hello all,

This is my first post of what I hope will be many! I too, want to get back on track this week and plan to track my points every day :)
 
I don''t usually post too much in here because I tend to frustrate myself when it comes to trying to lose weight! I just wanted to vent that my cake testing, which was divine, has left me with 4 delicious cakes in my fridge for the past week. They are so delicious FI and I have been having pieces for dessert at night because we can''t bear the thought of any of it going to waste!

Combine that with Thanksgiving and a missing the gym for a few days and I feel like I fell completely off track. I''m trying to be good but man, it''s even harder around this time of year!
 
KeepingTheFaith, don''t sweat about the cake tasting. If you enjoy it just make sure you have some in moderation. Totally restricting yourself of all things you like is bound to make you fail. But if you allow yourself to indulge, just a little bit, then you can keep yourself motivated
 
I definitely did not do so well this past week. vacation away from home (and my gym!) along with turkey day, and a general attitude of "its okay, its the holidays!" stopped my progress. I was hoping to be 159 by Dec. 1st, and I''m still hanging out at 162. Hopefully I can get it down by the 15th!
