11-13mm circle Tahitian strand

I recently got a pair of baroque freshwater pearls for Christmas. The more unique shape sparked an interest that I had not had before for pearls. Round seems to bore me a little. Anyways, thanks to @mskuj I was inspired to look into some more “interesting” Tahitians. Being tall and broad shouldered I wanted some slightly larger than the standard pair. These are peacock AAA/AA and range from 11-13.
I’m thinking of using a plum strand and a gold toggle clasp but I haven’t landed in the clasp yet.

Those are gorgeous! I love the way circle pearls allow the orient to dazzle in so many interesting places. I must find & obtain some very colorful pearls somewhere!!

Can you restring the clasp to the front instead? Seems like a waste to have it at the back.

Beautiful circled pearls! Personally I love the intensely peacock ones too and have several of them.

My only concern is it might flip around- it’s for bars on the side to so might be better to use it with a double strand? Idk

The clasp could be placed neither at the neck nor in the front, but along the side of the neck. The pearls could still be arranged to graduate normally with the largest in the center front. It seems to me the clasp would not be as likely to flip when oriented N-S this way.

I decided against using the ring and converting it to a clasp for this particular project.
I found a 14k gold clasp on goodwill for $40 and assuming the size is good I’ll go that route- I think. It’s around 10mm I think? So we’ll see.
I bought myself a strand for a matching bracelet. The circles just really tugged at my hear in this strand. They look like little bee hives !
I also bought one more mix strand of rounds but imma wait to show that off - she deserves a little reveal
