I was happily enjoying my new Kelege ring with a family center stone when I realized tonight that there was an ever so slight rattle when I put the ring up to my ear. Upon further inspection, there is a hair of side to side movement of the stone within the 4 prong setting. WHAT TO DO???? I am so upset and dissappointed. This was a custom piece and my finace bought it through Nordstrom in San Diego but I am in Boston. I don''t think the stone is at risk for falling out but now I am afraid to wear it. Furthermore, I am hoping that the fine jewelry department here at the Nordstrom outside Boston can fix it because I really don''t want it to go through the mail 2 more times to go back to Kelege to be fixed. I saw a few similar stories about this occuring with platinum prongs but I never expected it. How common is it? Should I be really worried about my stone? And... should I let Nordstrom or a local jeweler fix it or should I let it go all the way back to Kelege in LA? Ugh!!
