1 mm Baguette 30th Birthday Band

So, while I was inspired by Mara''s search for the perfectly petite diamond eternity ring, I stumbled across this teeny 1 mm baguette semi-eternity band. I dragged my b/f to several jewelry shoppes, and found this one that I absolutely adored. We did this back in September, and by the time my birthday rolled around in October, I had completely forgotten about it. He surprised me with it for my birthday!

I love this band, too - but I would not recommend a 1mm band for everyday wear. It''s a bit delicate on it''s own, so that''s why I wear it with another ring. I had to have them reset 3 of the end baguettes because when they had it sized down, I ended up losing one of the stones only one week after he gave it to me.

But I love it, and it''s a fun alternative to my sapphire/diamond band.

I love that baguette band...it looks perfect with your ring. I would imagine that it would be pretty delicate too. I have a ~2mm east / west set half eternity baguette diamond band that I am planning to wear with a 1/2 ct emerald cut solitaire that I have (I need to get the emerald cut diamond taken out of a 3 stone ring and put into a platinum semi-mount that I have). Below is a picture of it before I got it sized (this is my first time adding pics so hopefully it shows up). I''ll try to post pics of the set after I get it all done if anyone''s interested.

By the way, when was your birthday? My b-day is October 12th (turned 29 this year). Happy belated birthday!

Thank you for the compliment on the baguette band...I love it too. It was a really good purchase. I can''t wait to get the emerald cut set so I can wear them together. I am planning on taking the rings to my jeweler next week so hopefully it won''t take too long to get them back.
