Hello,

I really want 2 eternity bands to wear as wedding bands on either side of my Ering. Here are the rings I am looking at http://www.thefacetscollection.com/item.cfm?item_id=4106 from Facets.

I love that facets has only ideal cut diamonds because I want my rings to sparkle. But my question is if I wear a size 5 or 6 (not completely sure) that means between .54 and .55 tcw, and either 45 or 46 diamonds (that seems teeny) will the stones will be too small to even sparkle?

This is my ring

Do you think I should just use the 2k to get one band that actually sparkles?

Very pretty e-ring ring. Generally, I like the look of the two bands. I can''t comment on the sparkle factor for that size stone because I have no experience with that size. There is quite a bit of metal on the bands. I don''t know if that is the look you want to go after.

I have not dealt with SP but they have been spoken highly of here so I assume that they would work with you. I''d order one band and see if you like its look. If you do, order a second one. Otherwise return the first and order a single one with the larger stones.

Just my $.02.

i have a half-eternity wedding band with RB melee (.22ctw) bead-set. i think it sparkles plenty, but when i compare it to my 1.56ctw shared-prong eternity band, it''s like comparing apples to oranges.

i think having an eternity band on either side will give your wedding set a pretty, delicate look. a larger ctw band will be a little wider, which may or may not appeal to you. on the one hand, it would look more substantial on its own, on the other hand, it''s a completely different look.

I think 2 bands would look great and would sparkle plenty.

I just did the math and that means each stone would be .012 ct! I can''t even picture what that would look like in my mind, its so tiny.

I may just get this one instead:

Although I think I really like princess cut stones better.

The one on my ering band has 16 RB diamonds and it''s .16 ctw and it sparkles like crazy. It doesnt seem like it from the pictures I''ve posted because I have such a crappy camera

I dont know much about diamonds so maybe it depends on the cut and setting? But I do also like the princess cut ring better. I think it would go really nicely with your ering!

In general I like the idea of 2 bands as it provides a symmetrical look. But here''s my rub (rather using 1 or 2 bands)...when you add them I think it needs done very tastefully or it takes away from your diamond and almost makes it blend into the sea of diamonds. Either that or have a big enough center stone to divert attention away.
