Did you ever resolve your skin/e-ring issue?

LIB - So, I went to my doctor (who smirked at me for my trivial problems) and he told me it was an ingrown hair. How someone can get an ingrown hair on their finger, I have yet to figure out. About a month after my post my finger was back to its original size. Thank goodness, considering my doctor told me I might permanently have a bump there (scar tissue).
