Hi all. I''m on the market for round brilliant diamond stud earrings in 2 carat total weight, so 1 carat per earlobe. Trying to decide among Eighternity, Star129, Solasfera, and Hearts & Arrows.

In your opinion, which cut would would be best for a 1 carat diamond earring? I just watched all of the comparison videos at GOG and I am overwhelmed! And the Star129 looked possibly too busy for me, but I''ll have to go back and rewatch the videos.

I have also read elsewhere on this forum that these branded cuts can look too busy in smaller diamonds. Have you ever seen these branded cuts in a 1 carat round brilliant?

I greatly appreciate any input you would like to share.

Thank you.

with the longer viewing distance with earrings h&a all the way.
solasfera second.
wouldnt consider the others.

I have seen all four in 1 ct. sizes and I would probably go for the H&A unless you necessarily want something with a significantly different look. If you can get to see them yourself in person then definitely do that. I like the look of the Solasfera and Eighternity, but I did not care for the Star 129 at all.

thank you both. And you confirmed my gut instinction. And I am not crazy about the Star 129 either.

My vote would be for the H&A. Eighternity would be too busy for me in stones that size. Haven''t seen the star 129...

thank you, Kaleigh!

I would go for the less busy H&A in that size, too.

For earrings, I definitely prefer stones with larger facets for larger sparkles. I''d definitely prefer the H&A and would rule out anything with extra facets or crushed icey appearances. Antique cushion styles would make great earrings in my opinion.

thank you Sera and KCorsolle. By the way, I love your rings!
