1 carat and 1.5 carat rings

I was at my mom's today and decided to take some pictures of our rings together. It gives a nice idea of what a 1 carat looks like next to a 1.5 carat. My ring is 1.5 carats F, SI1. Her's is a little over a carat, and I believe an I VVS1 My ring size is 5.25

Thanks! for your post that give me an idea how different they are. I'm thinking about to update my from 1 karat to 1 1/2 and my ring size is 5, now I see how different and worth it to update.

There really is a big difference between them in size. I think it would worth it to upgrade your ring!
