Confection10, Thanks sweetie! I agree the 3mm plain band is just meh. I already had it and nothing else I
own really goes with this. I will probably have Caysie/Erica make me a super thin diamond band to match.
I am also sorely tempted by Caysie's new Nova band, maybe without the hammered sides. What do you

marym, plain band isn't just meh to me. It's classic and restrained. Always in vogue. I think 2.5mm would be perfect, if plain is way to go. I think I'll start with it, because I'm not sure which one is perfect match. I want a band that will bringing settings true beauty out. So I'm very excited what You will choose. It helps me to decide too, maybe

Confection, you are right! Plain bands are so classic and as you say, restrained. That is the perfect description. I love the simplicity of a plain wedding band. I just think this 3mm band competes visually too much with the delicate solitaire. I am getting a 1.5 mm plain band for the time being, and then will eventually add a thin diamond band of some sort.
BTW, I saw the pic of your Zoe ring- Stunning!! I can't wait for you to post more pics! I love the setting you chose- vintage inspired and so beautiful! And that stone is a stunner. I bet it is really fiery! You are going to love it I'm sure!

I also wanted to say that I think the queen of photography is definitely Erica D. The colors she captures in these stones is truly amazing. If I had one of those trees she stands under to get these pics I would probably be camped out all day just staring at my ring! The first pic has Confection10's gorgeous stone on top, mine is on the bottom and some gorgeous beauties in between. Look at those colors!! Yum!!

Hello everyone! I wanted to share my new pretty from CvB/LAD.
I love how it turned out! I went with the Elsa solitaire in 14k rose
gold with a beautiful 1.9 ct GIA L VS2 oec from the wonderful
Erica at LAD. She and Caysie were extremely helpful and patient,
and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I love my ring!

It looks amazing on you!!! I'm so thrilled that you love it - isn't it crazy, the colors your OEC picks up? I get attached to every diamond I buy for the store, so it makes me truly happy to see them valued and appreciated.

And thank you for the kind words about my pics and videos. I have this giant purple flowering plum tree in my yard that does all the real work, I just turn on the camera. But I think showing diamonds in a colorful environment will tell you what it can do when it's on your hand - each stone has a different facet pattern that grabs colors in unique ways. The only frustrating part is when my magical tree loses its leaves in the winter! Hmmm maybe I need a silk version on my porch for wintertime emergencies lol.
