She’s here and I think she’s beautiful! Thank you to @OoohShiny, @Karl_K, @Rockdiamond, @maita13, @marcy, @AV_ and ALL the gorgeous diamonds in the emerald cut threads. You guys did this newbie good as far as I’m concerned. I did the best I could with ZERO experience in diamond picking. I have no idea if this is a well cut diamond or not, but it does make me happy when I look at it and that is really its purpose to me. If anyone sees any huge red flag, emerald cut “NoNo”s, please let me know, but I think I’ll keep her! This site has also inspired me to try and dress up her setting a tad in the future.
So here we go:
1.7 J VVS2
L/W ratio 1.35
Depth 64.5% Table 67% ( Breakin’ the law :p)
Polish: Ex; Symmetry: Ex
Girdle: Med to Thick
Cutlet: none
Fluorescence: Med Blue
M: 7.97 x 5.9 x 3.81
Natural daylight indoors
Fluorescence
California sunshine
Evening indoor lighting
I had a couple of videos but I can’t figure out how to post them.I think this stone does have less fire than my last EC, but she still flashes quite a bit and while I still see the warmth of the J, it seems less so than my last so maybe that fluorescence helped! It’s a pretty cool party trick anyway. Thanks again! And I’m already plotting my next upgrade! 3 carat goals
