Dear PSers,
I have been looking for a nice OEC for about a month now. I'm not in a hurry but I know that one day I want to have one. Also, as I have the time, I am looking to find a decent deal.
Now I'm traveling and came across this one that I fell for at an antique dealer. It's an uncertified (yep!) 1,6 carat OEC which to me appears just absolutely beautifully cut. The pictures do not show the faceting well at all. The gemologist that the shop uses has said it's a J VS. Compared to my GIA E colored e-ring, it faces up beautifully white. From the side view, a champagny color comes through but only slightly. I would be very happy with the color.
However the issue is the clarity... It is just perfectly clean except a big feather (?) extending from the girdle towards the center. I had my 30x loupe with me and it was very obvious. Once I knew it's there, I could notice it without a loupe. I would still be happy with the clarity but this one might pose a durability issue - am I correct? I attach here some pictures from diamonds that I now found online that have similar inclusions. It won't really show in the pictures I took of the actual diamond itself.
Here are some pictures:

Here are some pictures to explain the inclusion better:
it's similar size and location as the inclusion in this diamond at 3.30 o'clock.

But it is completely white and looks a bit more like this one (except it's white and looks a bit "deeper"):

What are your opinions about the diamond? I would really really appreciate all the help as I do love it and the ring itself is just beautiful. The crown from the sides is antique style and shows such craftmanship. It's 950 platinium.
Also even if the inclusion would be ok safety wise, would I be overpaying if I bought it for 5000 USD?
I can go again have a look at it on Monday as I'm visiting for a while.
Thank you for all the possible help with this one !
