1.50 or 1.75

Just wanted to know if it is worth it to pay an extra $200 for .25 carats. This is a combined weight of about 8 stones consisting of baguettes and round diamonds. They are the same color and clarity, between the two cwt. Thanks.

there is more difference between these two diamonds than just carat weight. make sure you are making an informed decision.

They are both part of the same set, an engagement and a matchign wedding band. The baguettes are straight in both sets as well as the use of brilliant diamonds. i will be trying them both on in St. Maarten when I am there in a couple of weeks.

So are you saying that the same set can be bought with either 1.5 or 1.75 total weight? I think $200 sounds like a reasonable difference since one setting is probably overall a little larger than the other.
