Hello.
I am trying to decide between a blue nile stone and a debeers forever mark stone.
This is the bn stone.
I have it in person and really like it.
1.30 G VS1 x x x no fluorescence
56 table
62 depth
34.5 crown angle
40.8 pavilion angle
slightly thick faceted 3.5%
Good HCA score <2
I can't see the cloud unless I look under the microscope and tilt it at certain angles.
Here it is:
http://www.bluenile.com/round-diamond-1-carat-ideal-cut-g-color-vs1-clarity_LD03124051
I have my setting already picked out. It is a solitaire in platinum.
The jeweler is trying to get me to go to a similar stone but from DeBeers Forever Mark.
The total price of the bn stone and ring is similar to the debeers stone and ring.
I am trying to understand if these debeers forever mark diamonds are a big marketing tool or are they actually superior?
