Hi Guys,

I thought I'd post some pictures of the e-ring that I recently purchased from GOG. Diamondseeker2006 mentioned that there was some demand for the Tiffany novo replica setting. I was finally able to take some pics over the weekend (with my very understanding FI). The RB is set in a platinum Gabriel & Co Novo setting. I'm not sure why one can't see this setting from the website, but GOG has it onsite for those who are interested. The part # is W-ER4181 (i'm not sure if that is a GOG part # or a Gabriel & Co part#)

I also had it appraised over the weekend and everything was spot on. I went to see Patrick Davis at
GJA in Culver city and it was amazing how accurate he was with the specs. I had very little doubt that it would end otherwise, but I read that it is important to get an independent appraisal done for insurance purposes. He was very engaging and answered any and all questions that we had. Highly recommended!

For those interested, here are some specs.

Here are some pics of the setting. They make a matching wedding band.
34 stones, 17 on each side, approximately 0.005 carats (for a total of 0.15)

Another view.

BTW, the diamonds go around about 3/4 of the ring.

Another shot with a diamond (not mine though...)

The previous 3 shots were all provided from GOG.

Lastly, a bottom shot, so you can see how the diamonds stop near the bottom.

Gorgeous. Isee2 and Novo? What a combo!

I brought him an Isee2 to appraise a couple weeks ago. He was very interested in the way they do the inscription. Did he mention anything about that? I would think he'd figure out the Pricescope connection.

Your ring is beautiful! The proportions are lovely. Congrats on the new sparkly!

Can you tell me how wide the band is (mm)?

All,

Thank you for all your kind comments. I know for a fact, I would have not made such an excellent choice, without pricescope.

Kittybean,

I''m sorry, my documentation doesn''t show that. Next time I get it cleaned, I''ll ask. I believe Marie at GOG said it was 1.8 or 2 mm.

lisamarie,

Yes, we started off by saying that I found him from pricscope and that made our meeting much smoother. I did mention that it was an isee2 but it would have taken to long to find that inscription. Apparently its not laser inscribed, but some other method which makes finding it very time consuming and difficult. I guess if you have the isee2 machine, it can be shown very quickly.

For those who are interested, i''ve attached what the inscription looks like. My understanding is that the inscriptions is placed near one of the table facets and not on the girdle. However, it is so small, that it doesn''t affect the light performance of the diamond (i think something like 100x...)
