The stone is not vintage to the ring, so you know. Tsavorite was discovered in the late 60's, and the ring is being advertised as circa 1950's.
 
yep. I knew it was not an original setting. but still seemed like a nicely put together piece.. (to my untrained eye. lol)
 
it definitely looks to be on the dark side. But its funny - I don't think of tsavorites as particularly sparkly; I see them as having great color. Their siblings demantoids, however, are the bomb when it comes to scintillation and dispersion. :))
