I know the regulars on PS have a few favorite vendors but I decided to give one of the new vendors a shot. The price for platinum at Eternity Diamonds was just right for me. I was even able to place a semi-custom order. They were really nice to work with, they kept me updated throughout the process, and even rushed to get me my ring before Passover. I’m also having them set some studs for me, pictures to come as soon as I get those. In addition to that, I have a 1mm platinum band on the way from JewelerOnTheRoof.

I love this ring. I honestly couldn’t be happier, the workmanship is awesome and the head sits nice and low just like I wanted. I think it’s gorgeous! I’m walking around the house like I’m Liz Taylor or something. LOL … This should hold me over for quite some time – At least another 5 years!

Sara Thank you! My best friend told me my nails look like "old lady nails" and then she called them my "I''m getting married today nails," which to her means boring. She likes really loud stuff, but loud colors don''t look good on my skin methinks. I can do toned down colors and dark reds. I really like dark reds. I love that red in your avatar, BTW!

Now I need to figure out the measurements of this whole thing including the halo. It''s just the right size for my finger. I eventually want to get a solitaire *just this size*. Then I can figure out the carat weight area I need to be looking in. I''m afraid it might be around 3? I wonder if I can measure with a ruler?
