1.2 carat blue oval from Fire and Brilliance

I thought I'd start a thread for this stone, instead of clogging up the other thread. I was curious to learn that Fire and Brilliance now has MMDs (I always associated themw with moissanite) and they have fancy colors! They have some of the best pricing I've seen for fancy colored lab stones (apart from Lightbox). I have a blue 2 carat from Lightbox that is a very pretty teal/blue, but I was interested in a truer blue. I saw this 1.22 carat oval for ~$930 and thought, why not? Here are some pics. I think the blue is gorgeous and it is a very sparkly stone. The stone has a significant bowtie, though I knew that going in. The bowtie seems worse in pics/video. Anyway, I think the stone is very pretty, overall. I might place this one in a white diamond halo and make it into a pendant or ring. I also might consider returning it to look for a stone w/less of a bowtie. Or I might keep it and buy another (hah).

How are you viewing Fire and Brilliance's fancy colored lab grown diamonds? I'm looking to buy a colored MMD, but when I look Fire and Brilliance up, I can only seem to find their colorless MMD. Thanks in advance!

That's one of the most natural looking blue MMDs I've seen! I'd keep it as bowties are hard to avoid AND get everything else right about an oval. You could always set it east/west so it's not as noticeable Congrats!

I really like the transparency of it; I prefer the look of the clearer blues. It’s almost like a tiny. Very nice!!!

Ugh it was awful. I basically had to manually search. They need to set it so you can filter for fancy colors. Instead I just put that I wanted a stone around 1.2 carats with an ideal cut, and kept clicking through until I found some blues to look at. Very clunky, not user friendly!
