Thank you so much for all of the nice comments! I am thrilled with the ring. I knew he was going to use his grandmother's diamond but had no idea it was such a nice one! The pictures really do not do it justice, in real life it is just a ball of sparkle. The center stone is a 1.12 G SI1 transitional cut with a tiny open culet. He chose the first sidestones to be marquise as a reference to my mother's engagement ring which has a marquise center stone. It is a true family ring. I wish I had better pictures. Thanks again for the comments!
Thanks again guys! I am not sure who made it - my fiance took it to a jeweler in town, I will ask him the name. I am amazed that when I look at the diamond I can totally see 8 symmetric arrows. It is definitely a well-cut transitional. I am enamored with it. The design was inspired by settings from singlestone but with our own twist on it. I am very much in love - with the stone and the man! Thanks again!
