Hello all,

I need some advice because a friend has offered me 2 diamonds for an engagement ring for US$ 4500.

Both GIA certified.

#1 - Carat- 1.00ct
6.11X6.16X3.97
H Colour
VS1
Cut grade - Fair
FInish - Polish V Good
Symettry - V good

Table 59% 40.5degrees
Depth - 64.6%
Pav angle - 40 degrees
0 cutlet
no fluro

#2 - Carat- 1.00ct
6.18X6.6.21X4.00
F Colour
SI1
Cut grade - Good
FInish - Polish Excellent
Symettry - Excellent
Table 59% 38degrees
Depth - 64.6%
Pav angle - 40.4 degrees
0 cutlet
medium blue fluro.

Or shall I wait and see if there is a better one for the similair price...decisions by tomorrow...

a well cut round should be 6.5 mm wide. yours are too deep. unacceptable.

I thought it was a bit small for a 1ct because it looks sort of small..
6.1mm..

I will pass and tell him, he was sort of pressuring me to buy it quickly etc for a bargain price.

If the cut grades are "good" or "fair", I''d definitely pass. Oops, I just noticed you had. Good luck with your search!
