1.0 - 1.2 girdle

I''m looking at a 0.80ct H&A with a thin girdle of 1.0 - 1.2.

Would anyone out there be at all nervous about putting this in a 4 prong Tiffany? I tend to be the cautious type and wondered if perhaps I would be better off looking for a thicker girdle.

Jerryw, welcome to the forum.

According to AGS, 1.0% - 1.2% girdle is in thin range (0.51% - 1.2%) but close to medium range (1.21% - 1.7%) and it is in ideal cut grade.

You should not have problem with it (assuming the setting is done by a professional of course

).
