I''m considering a H&A E, VVS1 but the HCA computes a 0.8. It falls within both the AGS and GIA scale for ideal, so will I still have a problem with the diamond appearing darker close up or with dark clothing?

It''s probably fine. However, there is really no need to go as high in color/clarity as a E/VVS1. I would consider dropping down a bit in both to save some money. There will be little to no visual difference if you drop a couple of grades down.

What are the actual numbers?
