I bought this 0.70 tanzanite ring, flanked by two small diamonds, in Aruba. I am making a special effort to wear it, having had its loose centre stone fixed and its size taken down. I find it a little small on its own so I wear it with my thin diamond half-eternity to give it more presence. When I've cleaned them both in the ultrasonic they look very nice and sparkly.

 ooh my  Love that tanzanite colour and sparkle! I like the pairing with the channel set band, too - very nice! :appl: Looks very nice on your hand and i agree - the band helps to add some weight and impact to the 3 stone :praise:

Aruba: check - added to world tour! :appl:

It's lovely!

Thanks, both!

Aruba's a grrrreat place to buy jewellery. Well, it was - prices have probably gone up now. I used to go there quite a lot in 2000-2003, because my company in London had the UK public relations contract for the Aruba Tourism Authority, and in 2000 and 2001 especially, prices were so low compared to today.

Grab your swimsuit, Enerchi!

It's lovely. Be careful, though. It is recommended that you not put tanzanites in ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Stick to a mild soap and lukewarm water to avoid damage to your stone!

Oh, thanks! I didn't know that. Thanks so much for the heads-up!

Beautiful!

Thanks baby nurse! Are you really a baby nurse? How lovely, if you are!

Very pretty!! Love it paired with the band, they look really nice together!

Very pretty. I love the color of tanzanite.

Thanks, everyone!

My last job as an RN was on OB, and I was usually assigned to the nursery. It was very sweet but also scary at times. These days I'm a full time Mom but once my 3.5 year old begins kindergarten, back to work I go!

I'm really enjoying your collection!

Oh,, if you're a proper RN as o[pposed to a non-medical private nurse, then yes, I imagine you had some very scary moments caring for babies in the hospital nursery! It still sounds a lovely thing to do though. And your toddler's well set up, with his/her own personal RN!

Thanks for enjoying my collection. I don't get to show anybody so it's nice to show people on here. The people I know either don't get it about jewellery or would just think I'd spent too much.

Hey Smith,

Do you mind sharing where in Aruba you went shopping? I am going soon and trying to compile a list of reputable jewelers.

Thanks!
