0.02ct round diamonds

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could purchase 0.02ct round stones from? I’m looking for good quality, say VVS+ and F+ (if possible with triple EX if that even applies?).

I’d need them for a couple rings.

There are lots of sellers of melee, 1 and 2 pointers or even smaller.

Some can be found on eBay and Etsy, I believe.

However, how well they are cut will make a difference to how well they perform.


High Performance Diamonds are able to source their 'Lux' melee, IIRC, but I'm not sure if they would provide loose diamonds.

Likewise, Whiteflash use 'ideal cut' melee in their rings, but I don't know if they sell them loose.

Could be worth asking, just to check.


re: clarity - you won't need VVS at that size, even SI1 will almost certainly be eye-clean, I'm sure!

I've used Karen Rosengart for melee. She is excellent.

Will you be creating your own rings? If so it would be very interesting to follow! Please post a thread with pictures! If not, be aware that not many jewellers will accept "outside" melee. Be sure to ask your jeweller before proceeding...
