“StarSapphire” vintage dainty ring

When I was in elementary school (1980s) one of my classmates’ mom had a star sapphire ring... and since then I have always wanted to find one for myself but never did. Well this came up on Etsy and I nabbed it. Cute tiny single cut side stones. I am completely sure the sapphire is man made, not a Lindy but similar, and the setting is a groovy Dason 10k piece. 1950s?

Oh my goodness I just love it! They’re so mesmerizing and I love the color!
My dad had a blue star sapphire pinky ring and when he passed away I gave it to my brother. He lost it within two months.

I have wanted to have it replicated ever since.
