We have fully immersed ourselves in Royalty during quarantine from Royal Weddings to Birthday Celebrations. The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle celebrated her birthday earlier this month. In honor of her, we decided to dedicate a post just for her. Let’s take a closer look into Markle’s Style File from her Engagement Ring to the accessories she loves to wear:

It was the engagement ring that caught the eye of many women (and men) around the world. A three-stone ring traditionally symbolizes a couple’s past, present, and future. At the time of the engagement, three round diamonds were set on an unadorned yellow gold band. Yet, sometime after Archie’s birth, eagle-eyed royal watchers noticed that the Duchess sported a new piece of jewelry (diamond eternity wedding band) as well as her engagement ring’s plain yellow gold band now featured diamonds in a micro-pave setting.

Now, this is one look we can definitely support. The Duchess is noted to be a big fan of stacking rings. So much so that there are multiple photos of her wearing several rings at once. However, she still keeps it classy by favoring very delicate, barely-there rings. A jewelry style look that is just timeless.

In case the “barely-there rings” style didn’t give it away, Minimalism is one of the Duchess’s favorite looks. Indeed, when you are a member of the royal family, less is definitely more according to palace guides. Markle was a fan of minimalism long before she became royalty. Minimalism is a classic look and perfect for times like these.

AQUAMARINE

From Minimalism to Bold accessories. One of the pieces which caught everyone’s eye occurred almost right after her marriage when the Duchess and Prince Harry headed off into the sunset in a convertible. Yet again, royal watchers noticed that she was wearing a large (30 Carat) aquamarine ring once owned by Princess Diana. We like to think it held a special place in Princess Diana’s heart as she personally commissioned the ring from Asprey. The ring is a beautiful Mediterranean blue. A gift from Prince Harry to his wife.

The eyes of the world were firmly placed on Meghan Markle as soon as she was named Prince Harry’s soul mate. Fortunately, she was allowed to stay true to her jewelry style and gave us a variety of jewelry inspiration to choose from!
