Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis Wedding: Get the Engagement Ring Look for Less

On July 9, baseball legend Derek Jeter (42) married the love of his life, model Hannah Davis (26). Their wedding was an immensely tasteful affair with the bride and groom opting to keep the guest list to fewer than 100 of their closest family and friends. They took complete advantage of California’s amazing summer weather by tying the knot in an outdoor ceremony at the Meadowood Napa Valley Resort in St. Helena, California.

The Bride and Groom’s Attire:

Bride Hannah Davis left nothing up to chance for her bridal finery. She selected bridal fairy godmother, Vera Wang, to create a custom mermaid wedding dress. The gown had a sweetheart neckline, tulle, lace and a show stopping plunging back. She completed her look with a cathedral-length veil. Not to be outdone by his bride, Derek Jeter wore a black and white tux complemented by a white bow tie.

Once the ceremony was over, the new Mrs. Derek Jeter swiftly changed into another custom Vera Wang creation. This one was an A-line, silk georgette halter dress with an impressive V-shaped neckline.

The Décor:

The newly-minted Mr. and Mrs. Jeter decided to keep the bridal theme going by choosing to have an all-white color scheme. It gave the reception a clean and fresh look which we loved.

The Engagement Ring: Get the Look for Less

Much like the wedding décor, Jeter stuck to tradition when selecting her engagement ring. Jeter proposed to the former Ms. Davis with a four to five carat round brilliant solitaire diamond set in either platinum or white gold. The impressive ring is reported to have set Jeter back up to $450,000, but we are sure he would agree that she is more than worth it.
