If you are still doing holiday shopping, you are not alone. There is a reason that there are drug stores with full aisles of gifts open 24 hours on Christmas Day. There are a lot of late shoppers and there can certainly be a strategy to that game, especially if you don’t mind if a gift is late.
There is still time though, to not be the person sliding in with a candle that smells like regret in a $.99 gift bag. For some recipients, the candle is the perfect gift so follow your heart!
I threw together some great gift ideas that you can hit buy on today and maybe wipe your shopping list out early! The best gift idea though, always, is to give from the heart and don’t overextend yourself. Give yourself the gift of time and peace of mind by shortening your to-do list!
When I am shopping for jewelry, I like to use the Jewelry Search so that I can put in the style that I am looking for and my price range. It’s also been a fun way to make a list of my own. Of course, shopping for the holidays does not preclude one from shopping for themselves. You deserve nice things too!
This year everyone has seemed so far apart, perhaps gifts that encourage togetherness and camaraderie are in order. Cozy blankets to share while you watch a movie. Gift card packages for date nights are amazing and can be purchased at the very last minute! Make something up like a gift card for a restaurant, a gift card for a Theatre or Cinema, and a gift card for coffee, dessert, and/or drinks. Package them together, it’s a fantastic gift. People really just love that they are being thought of and that you are considering their interests.
Experiences can make the best gifts. I’ve written about my own experiences with getting my first real jewelry from my beloved Grandfather, and this year I am giving my 8-year-old real diamonds for the first time. She LOVES jewelry and this is going to be a fun moment for us.
No matter what you give or receive, we hope that your holidays are nearly magical after this long period of worldly weirdness. We wish you heaps of happiness today and always!
