The Lioness. That is the name that Sam Asghari calls his now fiancée, Britney Spears. They are also calling this 4ct solitaire engagement ring by the same moniker. Fierce, bold, and amazing, I think the name fits it beautifully.
THE CRAFTING OF THE RING
Master jeweler Roman Malayev is the creator of this incredible ring, and it could end up as the pinnacle of his illustrious career. Malayev is the founder and master jeweler for Forever Diamonds NY. Asghari spoke with several designers before going with Mayalev. “Every designer I spoke with about the ring was amazing with great ideas, but I just clicked with Roman,” Sam said in a statement provided by Forever Diamonds NY. “We really connected on the design and he was as excited as I was to make it special—that’s why I chose him.”
Asghari was so intent on keeping the design under wraps that even Malayev’s wife was required to sign a nondisclosure agreement.
This 4-carat diamond ring features a floating solitaire setting with pavé diamonds on the bridge and additional diamonds on the prongs. The inside is inscribed with the word “Lioness.” It’s really beautiful and Forever Diamonds NY has smartly begun carrying a ring called “Britney” in their collections available for purchase. “It came out flawlessly,” Malayev said, “It’s another expression of who she is.”
BRITNEY’S LIFE
Britney Spears has been heavily in the spotlight off and on for the last several years, but it’s been really amplified in the last year. Spears says that during her hardest times in the last 4.5 years or so, Asghari has been her rock.
With all the turmoil that Britney has experienced over the last few years, her well-meaning fans have been both loving and concerned for her well-being. Heaps of congratulations poured in, along with recommendations of a prenup. Looking out for her welfare has become a passionate rallying force for Britney’s fans. The #freebritney movement was fierce and may have ultimately helped in getting her conservatorship ended.
Sam noticed the sentiments and posted on his own social media, “Thank you for the overwhelming love and congratulations! We both love every single one of you!” He then added, “Thank you for your concern about the prenup! Of course we’re getting ironclad prenup to protect my Jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day. 😂😂” at least he has a good sense of humor!
The way that they have been talking it seems that Britney, 39, and Sam, 27 are considering kids as part of their future. Britney has two sons from her previous marriage to Kevin Federline. While this maelstrom of distrust was built between Britney and her parents, it is promising that she has familial support to look forward to that she will feel more sure about. We hope that this is the restorative balm that Britney needs and wish them lots of luck and love.
