I have a suggestion for deciding what size studs to get.

Overstock sells a set of 5 pairs of round fakey studs for under $25 for the set. The sizes are 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, and 7mm, so they are all within the realm of possibility. You can wear them around for a few days to help you decide which size is best for diamond studs. They are, naturally, super cheapy but they are great for giving an idea! They''re also nice to have around for visualizing certain stone sizes--IMO they make it easier to see than using a chart or cutting out circles of paper.

I swear, every time I put up something new on here, there''s a thread asking for photos of it! HA! Well, I just started my own thread on my 0.5ctw OEC 8-prong martini studs, but here''s another one for good measure.

sorry Peaches, you are probably referring to someone''s earrings? just go back to the post and then after you hit "reply" there is a button on the top left that says "attach file" or "Quote" hit the quote button and that should bring up the earring post you meant to comment on. Welcome to PS by the way

I like diamonds but I have a CZ budget, so I bought this pair of diamonds on eBay and had an Etsy seller set them into sterling bezels for me. I love the way they turned out and can''t wait to get them! They are uncertified .26 ctw, H, I1.

LOL! Yeah, that''s really what I''m starting to think to, because if I just go with the 1ct I would be so afraid that in no time I would be wishing I would have went with the 1.25ct. Ya Know?

Here is an ear shot of my mutt baby bezels. Stats again are .26 ctw, H, I1, set in sterling bezels. These sparkle beautifully, despite the bad photo. The I1 clarity must be for some inclusions that for the life of me I will never see in such small stones.

Did I mention the whole project cost $75?

BGD handmade wg bezel studs

the stats: 0.306 J VS1 & 0.304 J VS2 (so just about 0.60tcw)

finished diameter with the bezel - is just the tiniest bit over 0.5cm
