I love it!!! That is the exact setting I have picked out for my ring!!! Yeah, I think I made the right choice. Feeling much better about my decision.
I will post pictures as soon as I get it, thanks for all of your help!

My recovery had a little set back toady, my incision opened back up, I freaked out but was told it's fine and just keep an eye on it.
It's so uncomfortable feeling.

Who made your new ring?

The ring was custom made in platinum from the design of my original ring. They used CAD to recreate the same ring in a seven stone version. The original ring was from Lux Bond and Green and was stamped with their logo on the inner band. The design sits low and is super comfy.

I am sorry you had a set back. That must have been scary. I remember it took me 2 weeks to feel normal after my surgery. Just think you will have a reward coming soon after what you have been through.

Just received my nine 1.79 cttw H-I SI1 H&A diamonds.

They are very pretty, I am actually very happy with my decision. I think they will give me just enough bling (for awhile).

I have a 9 stone band but the diamonds are only 7 pointers each, and that provides a lot of sparkle, so I can only imagine how blingy yours will be!!

If you try another solitaire down the road, you could consider either a bezel setting, or an illusion setting, to increase the apparent diameter. Even a 1/2 ct RB set in an illusion head looks substantial because of the mounting. This one combined a fishtail head with an illusion plate to bulk up the center diamond.

No. Amcor Design will be making it. I will be having it made in 14K white gold. I am thinking of having the shank yellow gold to match my husband, but I'm not sure.

Yes I did it's very pretty. It's actually something I considered doing with the five AVC stones I briefly owned.

I will be shipping the diamonds to Amcor in the next few days. I think they said it would be about four weeks. I'm excited.
Even my hubby likes the diamonds.

As someone told me in my RT thread about the metal color, if you don't like it, it is very easy to rhodium plate. Also the shank will only be visible to you most of the time. All everyone else will see is diamonds
If looking at your DH's band makes you swoon then go YG. I ordered a 2mm 18k YG band from e-weddingbands for a test drive to be sure I really wanted YG. I love it!!! So rich and yummy!

Do you think you will wear the plain 2mm YG band with your ring? That is the only thing that is keeping me from the YG shank, could I wear a white gold band with my band if the shank is YG? I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Nope they didn't make a mistake, I did. I should have ordered it a little larger. But I've been wearing it and so far it feels fine, it's comfortably snug. My fingers were swollen this morning when I first tired it on.
I did email Amcor and told them it was tight, but for now I am just going to leave it and see how it feels in a few weeks. If I need to have it sized I will. Right now I'm just happy I can wear it. It's really pretty
