I must admit, when I read that you were searching for a five carat oval, my heart skipped a beat. That is something I would have loved to see. Ovals and cushions are my favourite.

I saw a lot of ovals but it was strange. Well cut ovals became very rare once you hit five carats. A lot of fours out there. Amongst the big design houses only one had a 5 carat oval and I was not crazy about the length to width ratio on that one. It was a bit too narrow for me. I found a few online but they were poorly cut (big bow tie). They are beautiful when done well though...
