Just realized I didn''t post the specs:

Center stone: princess cut 0.71 G, (I2

I can totally see the inclusions and they drive me nuts) 4.79 x 4.61 x 3.35-- I can''t wait to upgrade the center stone, we got it before we knew anything about diamonds. I was told I can upgrade it as a graduation/anniversary gift in 2 years... I''m thinking 1.3 E VS2, but we''ll see. I also want to make the prongs more v-shaped.

Just got the set for our 3rd anniversary (kept orginal center stone)
plat e-ring: 0.4ctw F-G VS1-VS2 (8 princess cut diamonds)
plat w-band: 0.3ctw F-G VS1-VS2 (15 princess cut diamonds)

Thanks-- Yeah it is, the e-ring is 3.5mm wide at the shoulders and tapers to 2.25 in the back, and the band is 2.75 wide and tapers to 2.09 in the back. I actually wanted an even thinner set, but I couldn't find any that had all princess cuts that were channel set.

aww thanks! That is the first compliment like that I have received here like that! SO SWEET! I reallly, reallly wish that my bands had lower carat weight, they are 1 ct on each band. IT's alot of ring to where, plus it doesn't quite the contrast with the center stone.

I do love it though!


Mine is an upgrade from a .74 f vs2. I now have a 1.53 J SI2. If I may throw this out there, I would go for an SI1 or 2 and even an F-H color.. Save you a little dough when the time comes..
But I can only see 2 black spots and it doesn't look that bad to me. I know what you mean, and someday upgrade!! It will be beautiful.

you said it may be a grad gift, are you in grad school??




BTW, what's your ring size, your rock looks so big on you!!

Yeah I will consider a lower clarity and/or color, but the cut on this one is so horrible it almost looks yellow. I''ve seen some really pretty stones on here and am shocked when they are J, etc. I honestly just want an eye-clean stone, but also want to order online so i was going for Vs2 just to be on the safe side. I can''t believe you''ve never had a compliment before I think your set is beautiful, and it looks huge! What size do you wear? It doesn''t look super thick, what mm are the bands?

Yeah I am in my 3rd year of the Doctor of Pharmacy Program, I graduate May 2008... Then I have 2 board exams to pass and I will have my license that''s the plan anyway.

I wear a size 4.

Very nice! I can relate to having a hard time finding a thin PR channel set band. That is why I got my wedding ring custom made. Everyone was so thick with so much metal. Drove me crazy!

It's a Canon PowerShot SD600. I am really happy with it, it's so easy to use, just point and shoot. I only had to take like 10 pictures or so go get quite a few nice one.

Thanks!!! I don''t see a lot of channel set princesses, and like I said it was really hard to find a more narrow band, and the e-ring was almost impossible.
