I am considering several right now online since the brick and mortar store I was working with keeps bringing me ovals with thick black bands of shadow across the center of the stones 
While I understand that the bowties are an inherent part of the cut, I really just don't want a distracting one. I also want max sparkle and fire of course 
Based on my semi mount, I'm pretty dead set on the color being D-F, but other than that I'm not terribly concerned with clarity or even carat (so long as it falls somewhere close to .70 give or take a little). Cut is of course most important and because ovals are not graded by the GIA, I am left Oh so clueless and confused!
Thoughts on the following would be highly appreciated!!
