I'm having difficulty deciding between a 1.5 and a 1.7ct round brilliant.

This is going on a petite size 4.75 finger. Post your 1.5 - 1.7 RB solitaire on your finger?

I'm actually interested in starting a thread of round brilliants in the 1.5 a 1.7 range. I did a search prior to my post and found the thread you had provided, but that one includes all shapes of diamonds.

When I searched PS, I saw a lot of size 5 fingers with 1.5 - 2 carats. I'm between a 4.75 and a 5 so for me, it wasn't exact but it was close enough.

Here is my RB. It's just under 1.5 carats. My ring size is between a 4.5 and 4.75.

Mine is a 1.7 on a 4.5. My finger might really be a 4 but I have large knuckles. Hope this helps! Good luck.

My ering is 1.6c F SI2. Shown here alone, with my plain wedder and then with the eternity (three-quarter).
Size I (4.5 equivalent in US I believe)

Knife edge Tiffany-style six-prong solitaire with knife edge plain wedder and 11-stone diamond eternity.

Here is mine just under 1.75ct! My ring size is 4.5, but this one I think it slightly bigger more like 4.75!

Here's my 1.66 RB VS2 G/H stone from 1988 ... love it.. it's not GIA's or anything as back then no one that I remember even knew about GIA..it has very nice fire, it can light up a room at night... ADDED: my ring size is 6.75 there.. i'm really a 7, but in winter it rolls around a lot so when I had this setting made we decided on making it a tad smaller.

This is a 1.63 ct (7.6mm) rb on a size 5.5 finger.

My 1.5 carat on 3.75 ring size. My FI would have gotten a 1.7 but at that time WF didnt have anything that size in the colour/clarity combo we like.
