Laila, thank you! I couldn't get to sleep the day I got it. I was too excited!

Everyone, thank you for your interest! I'm sorry to have to report that SO didn't bring the camera home and since it was his one day off he slept the whole day. He offered to go back to work and get it but I told him to rest. We will do it on his next weekend. Please don't throw any tantrums. We have to let SO do this. I really don't have the equipment or skills. I'm sorry we got off track but we'll do it as soon as we can and I'll post in this thread to let you know.

Don't you have an iPhone Danny? You can take decent photos with that. You don't need your SO to do it.

Maisie, yes, I do. I have the same phone SO has. SO took these pictures with his iPhone.

I want to take (for him to take, he's much better with a camera than I am) pictures with a real camera. I think SO did great with these but I think using a real camera will make a big difference.

This ring looks bigger in pictures than it does in real life. I think a real camera will do better at capturing what I see when I look at it.
