I prefer a stone with great fire. Do you think this will do it? Is this a good price?

Thanks. Happy Holidays ! !

We can''t say positively about price, because you didn''t list color and clarity. However, if it''s from where I think it is, their prices are good.

This stone will have a nice mix of both fire and white light. If you want to get the most fire you can, search for a higher crown angle, and smaller table.

i.e. CA 35, table 54

Oh dear, what was I thinking. Sorry

Thanks Ellen.

Let me go edit it.

As I said, I''m pretty certain I know where this is from, and their prices are competitive. Whether you want to search more to see if you can find a stone a bit more geared toward fire is up to you. However, I know Gary has said, even in stones that fall under FIC, the "extra" amount of fire is not all that much. If you can''t find one, or don''t want to wait to look, I think you''ll still be quite happy with an ideal cut such as this one.

Just curious Ellen. Who told you you''d get more fire from a 35 degree crown angle as opposed to 34.3?

Hey Jon,

Nobody told me that. There should be a + after the 35, my keys stick. So, that probably answers your question.
