I've taken a bit of a jewelry break since adding my Deco Beauty to my collection last summer.



It's been so hard!! There are some Big Items on my Wishlist for sure; at the top are an Original Art Deco diamond necklace and/or Riviere necklace and an antique yellow diamond pear (likely a ring...) I recently passed one up bc the setting was so similar to my Ezmerelda, but it was lovely and a great deal!! So hard..... but whenever I get frustrated or discouraged, I take a look at my Deco Beauty and remember that she is totally worth it!!! <3

Haha @mrs-b! It’s just a simple channel set baguette band. It’s not that exciting..
I’m so bored too! I’m getting quotes on getting my trees trimmed, a tree down, septic pumped, roof repairs, leak fixed, deck repaired and painted, house painted..I’m about to scream from the boredom...haha I don’t have a lot of bling money left..relatively speaking. In a perfect world I would love a 4 carat emerald cut diamond. I’m searching for an emerald cut silver spinel...That should scratch that itch. I’m afraid that if I can’t find one soon I’ll buy anything just for a fix!

I came here a few months ago while researching eternity bands for our 25th Anniversary. I wanted something bigger than my original set.

We got engaged at 22 and couldn’t afford Too much. We’ve lived modestly since then, and I really struggled to spend so much on a piece of jewelry that didn’t seem practical during a pandemic. But I wanted it. After reading a gazillion posts here I had a consult with IDJ and ordered an eternity band. It arrived today and I’m just thrilled. I’ll have to take better pictures that are worthy of sitting alongside some of yours but here it is on Day 1!

I love it. Yael was great to work with. Israel promised I’d need sunglasses when taking it out of the box and I was not disappointed.

Thanks! I'm torn between a 3-stone and a cluster halo. I feel like the 3-stone would have more wearability, but the emerald wouldn't be as protected. On the other hand, a cushion cut emerald surrounded by chonky old cut diamonds just makes my heart go pitter patter. Decisions, decisions.

You may need another emerald and do both. Can’t wait to see what you decide. On the protection side, my first emerald ring has sides but I ended up scratching it right on the top (table?). I think I was waving my hand and hit into something. Ugh!

Update: I got it! It arrived today! It is a bit warmer than I thought, but the clarity and cut is just amazing! My other solitaire is a j/k and this was supposed to be a j but it looks considerably warmer.
