An impulsive buy, because I'm NOT looking for more diamond earrings, lol.

No details on the diamonds, other than they are set in 18k white gold, and total diameter is 7 mm.

But I really like the how the small diamonds are part of the prongs design, rather than a regular halo.

They are scheduled to arrive Dec 31, so should be my last purchase of 2019.

This pretty little sapphire and diamond eternity is a recent Etsy purchase. I bought it to stack with my new-ish blue sapphire solitaire. I was afraid that the sapphires in the eternity would be too dark for my lighter blue solitaire and I was absolutely right. But the ring was so pretty I decided to keep it anyway. It looks pretty alone and I don't mind the mismatched colors as much as I thought I would, so...

Sorry for the giant hand-- I can't seem to get pics and emojis right since the upgrade!

I love it! I think the variation in shape makes the color difference really pleasing. Would you mind sharing the shop you found her at?

Thank you. I've enjoyed reading your post when you converted the Costco princess studs into halo's. Maybe I was influenced on a subliminal level, LMAO.

I bought my diamond flower necklace from the same seller. So I have high hopes for the earrings as well. (fingers crossed).

@GlitterInMyHair I LOVE your flower necklace. Do you mind sharing the name of the seller?

The seller is komehyo on eBay. They are a luxury reseller based out of Japan. Their prices on non-designer jewelry pieces are generally very reasonable. On designer pieces, the discount is not great because I think retail prices on luxury brands in Japan are about 30% higher compared to US prices.

But be warned, it's a HUGE time sink going through their listings, lol. Right now they have over 16,000 items listed.

The only problem is they also have actual stores in Japan. I bought a beautiful emerald band ring ( through their eBay account) only to get Notification 2 days later that the item was already sold. I got my money back of course but apparently there can be a lag between when items sell in their store(s) and when they remove the ebay listing.

Here is my latest impulse item :)

The ring is vintage platinum die cast with a transitional 1.10 center with diamond & sapphire accents. Center stone is VS and color is likely in the M/N/P range. Filigree is in amazing shape and it even has little single cut 5 pointers on the gallery.

I just reset my ACA diamond last month and I was looking for a band to match without going custom since I wear so many bands. I didn’t want to pay for something that I may not wear all the time. Well I found this Preloved Simon G diamond platinum band that seems to fit the bill. It is 2mm and has the same milgrain and the diamonds appear to be set similarly to my new setting.

@Scandinavian - how gorgeous! Would you be able to tell me what these surrounding stones are? And can I have some size stats pls? The proportions are glorious! SO pretty!

Thank you !! The centre stone is my “old” 5 ct, in a little upgrade halo of pink argyle diamonds, 0.03 ct each. So quite small but kind of nice all the same. I’m very happy with it!

I added some pictures to my old thread if you would like some perspective pictures, but perhaps I should make a new thread...

Thank you, @Catmom! And - 'new one'? What new one?? What have I missed?

I may or may not be working on something for 2020. "Big" birthday + 40th Anniversary = new ring. 3.01 I VVS2. That's hubby's big paw there, lol. A little sister compared to yours.

Chiming in that I've been very pleased with my komehyo purchase, I got a platinum, diamond and 2 carat aquamarine ring for about $400-- beautiful ring, shipping was much faster than expected and the value was superb.

Waiting for two brooches. This one had missing pearls which the seller replaced: 0FC88C68-F88A-42EE-89FD-0034C70ACC0C.jpeg

I’ve been searching a while for the perfect arrow jabot pin at a good price:

And this was a recent purchase as well. I’m looking for a matching fob watch.

I have this on layaway for my upcoming birthday. Center is 1/4 carat and the rest are 10 pointers. Diamonds are graded as E VS2. I have been looking for s cluster and thought this one would give great finger coverage

Searched high and low for a French cut sapphire band in platinum. Bands are hard to hunt for, to get the right size, metals etc. Finally found one! I hope to add milgrain and engraving.

Gorgeous! Cannot wait to see this on you.
I wear my french cut sapphire band almost all the time. It's a very versatile band and I think you are going to be over the moon happy with this purchase.
