I previously posted something on choosing the best diamond, however, I did not have the correct photos. After having a long conversation with a diamond expert I was able to make a decission. however, now that I have the diamond picked out I''ve stumbled across more obstacles. First of all, do you all think a 1.04ct diamond will stand out enough on a soliatire setting with a 2.5 width? Secondly, what about sizing? Every ring my girlfriend owns is a size 7 and fits her perfectly, but when we measured her finger according to the ring chart on the site where I''m purchasing the ring her size is a 7.50. Is it possible for their sizing to be that diffrent, or could we just be doing it incorrectly? What size should I go for?

I would personally for ring sizing go with whatever size your girlfriend has been normally wearing. I wear a size 7 as well and am a very small person but fingers are thicker and longer. The 1.04ct solitaire should look wonderful on that band, not sure what size my band is, but there are 3 really small diamonds going down either side of my band. I now have a 1.16ct diamond but a few months ago I had a 1.04 and i had gotten so many compliments that it looked huge. I just wasnt happy with the stone and upgrade to a bit bigger as they didnt have a whole lot in because of the christmas rush and I''m very impatient..lol.. but anyways hope this helps and if any of her size 7 rings fit her wedding finger perfect then stick to the size 7 and if there is a problem it is not a problem to size up a bit, better bit snug then too loose in case it got lost. Well Good Luck!!
