Hi everyone,

I''d really appreciate your input on this stone:
J SI2 .747 ct
Depth 60.7
Table 57
Crown angle 35
Pavilion angle 40.9
5.90*5.91*3.58 mm
Girdle 1.2-1.7%
No flourescence

I''ve attached the idealscope image..looks pretty good, a little light under the table though. It scores a 1.9 on the HCA and all ''Very Good''.

It is eye clean and the inclusions are of a small black crystal and 2 small white crystals under the table. I will also attach a pic of the stone and the magnified inclusions.

Thanks for your reply, Mara!
Do you know what the 1.2-1.7 girldle percent is? Thin? Medium? That's info I had a hard time finding.

The Cut Advisor page has info on girdle ranges I think.

I think that would be thin-medium from what I recall.

thin to medium....and I second that it's a beautiful stone! Nice pick.

thank you.. should i be concerned that it isn't a faceted girdle?

I dont think you need to be concerned with an unfaceted girdle unless it was a done badly, where you can get bearding. But, as i think someone mentioned here on this forum, to do well done "bruted" girdle takes skill as well. Lots of people also say its a personal preference as you will see a frosted girdle, thats well..frosted looking rather than a clear faceted girdle. If its a well cut stone..which it definitely is, then you should have nothing to worry about...IMHO
