Just wanted to know what people thought about this diamond that I am interested in. I found it on Whiteflash and I heard that they were good people to deal withm, are they? Below are the specs. Also what do you think the diamond is worth, ie what would you pay for it?

Report: AGS
Shape: A Cut Above H&A
Carat: 1.596
Color: H
Clarity: SI1
Depth: 60.7
Table: 55
Crown Angle: 34.9
Crown %: 15.6
Pavilion Angle: 40.9
Pavilion %: 43
Girdle: 0.9%-1.7%, Thin-Medium
Polish: Ideal
Symmetry: Ideal
Culet: Pointed
Fluorescence: Negligible
Measurements: 7.61-7.62X4.62

Those ACA stones would be quite good to summarize what PS holds to the highest regard as "ideal" (since there is no general standars for this ideal... "ideal" sounds better) cut proportions and execution for a round diamond.

Even if the details of the cut could be improved one way or another (and I don't say they could) - the issue would be purely academic.

The combination of color, clarity and cut seems a very carefully studied one. And this surely is a top stone among it's H-SI peers.

Thanks for the opinion, Does anybody have anything else to weigh in on this ?
