...#21 is off the list!
I was just complaining on here about getting impatient, and your advice did wonders - I was finally able to calm down and enjoy our vacation. And of course it happened when I was least expecting!
In any case, here's the story:
Our vacation started out with 3 amazing nights in Quebec City - we climbed just about every set of stairs we possibly could, and enjoyed some incredible food! Then we set out for another 3 nights at Jacques Cartier National Park - we had rented a cabin there and planned to hike off all of that delicious Quebec City food we had consumed the days before. On day 2 of our stay we did a big hike in the morning and then a small hike in the evening. Now, I always thought that if he were to propose on a hike, it would definitely be at the top of a mountain. So when we were on our way back and he offered to stop at a bridge and enjoy the sunset, I didn't think anything of it.
And then... He got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. I burst straight into tears as he tried to put the ring on my middle finger (I think he might've been a *little* nervous!). Then there was giggling and hugging and jumping and a wonderful celebration dinner. It's still so hard to believe that I am now actually engaged!!!
Right after the proposal:

The ring!

And a view from earlier that day:
