I work but make not much money. I decided to try to sell 1 of my dress on ebay. I really want a ring by the end of this year and am really saving up for it. I don''t eat lunch ''cause I think if I waste money on a $10+ lunch then I will never save money that way.
Do you think its a good idea?![]()
My boyfriend/fiance and I have decided that as soon as we get the ring, we are in total lockdown mode when it comes to spending. Even though we don''t live together, we also have to take drastic measures to save up for our wedding and to be honest, I don''t know if I can be so diligent as you two Yssie!Date: 3/3/2010 10:15:05 PM

yup - giving up those $10-a-day lunches and $4 morning coffees will go a long way! FI and I have started bargain hunting for everything, including groceries, even if it takes an extra hour, we cling-wrapped the gigantic never-fully-closed window in the bedroom, we bundle up instead of turning on the heater, and we''ve saved a truly startling amount the last few months//

I have to thritto this advice, skipping meals is never a good idea. You can pack yourself a lunch inexpensively and still save.Date: 3/4/2010 5:43:52 AM
